#welovedialogue: Official response by Nigeria and Ethiopia to a statement by Egypt

Our representatives don't rest during the holiday! We received a response from Ethiopia and Nigeria to a statement made by Egypt in which the delegate responded to a statement made by Nigeria and Ethiopia. Quite a discussion we have here, right?

OFFICIAL RESPOND OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA AND FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA TO THE STATEMENT OF THE ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT

The statement made by Nigeria and Ethiopia was based on the common African position regarding the topic of Forced Migration, discussed at the meeting of Representatives of African states in March on finding common grounds on the topics in General Assembly. The essence of common position was also published in The UN Herald within the article African States working for a better tomorrow.

We, the delegations of Nigeria and Ethiopia would like to use the opportunity to congratulate to all the Representatives and express our satisfaction with the consensual adoption of the resolution. We truly believe that the resolution addresses the issue of Forced Migration on the global level and reflects the will of states in working for a better tomorrow.

H.E. Mr. Gorazd Mihelin, Representative of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
H.E. Ms. Tonja Avsenik, Representative of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia
