Interview: UK and South Africa on Working paper regarding minority issue

As General Assembly will in a less than two weeks discuss the agenda theme "inter-ethnic issues involving minorities", the delegation of United Kingdom and South Africa take the initiative and made the first steps towards the resolution of the problem, since they have already wrote the Working paper regarding this issue.

We took the advantage of this information and made the interview with both delegates, as we were interested of the outcome of their joint work - more precisely which ideas and strategies led them when writing the Working paper. Ms Iva Petković, the representative of UK and Ms Tamara Juričić, the representative of South Africa said us following:

Obviously the delegates of the UK and South Africa are aware of the fact that once a conflict has erupt, it is extremely difficult to bring it to the end. Therefore it is much easier to prevent the conflict before it turn in violent attacs than afterwards. In order to prevent the conflict state can manage the issue of minorities on different levels. Lets listen the proposals of the UK and South African delegation:

Our next question concerns the definition of minorities, more precisely, if the delegates had in mind to determine the definition of minority in their working paper. The answer was following:

Coming to the end of this short interview, we wanted to know which countries will support Working paper or maybe which of them already showed the interest for cooperation?
